my email address. make sure to remove the REMOVEANTISPAM part from the email address before you send it my name is adam. my age is not important to me, but when i fill out forms, i currently use the number 26. i live in downtown toronto. i am a digital photographer, using an Olympus E-10 (a digital SLR camera) and i am very proficient with adobe photoshop. the e-10 is a 4.0 megapixel camera that can produce an 11 megabyte TIF. i post my daily work here: http://inconduit.com/eye i fell in love with photography in october 2001 when i bought that olympus e-10. i had previously used a few point and shoot digitals, but my development didn't really begin until i first held an SLR. i have no formal training; instead, i have passion and have used that motivation to teach myself. to date (nov 2003), in a span of two years, i have over thirty thousand raw photos in my archives, a testament to the desire to develop my ability to make good photographs. i spend hours every day working with photography. i intend to keep building this relationship with photography for the rest of my life. i make all types of photographs; portrait, street, nature, architectural, conceptual, nude, documentary, event, and series. i have exhibited my work informally in many digital forums. i have not yet exhibited work in analog galleries, but i'll get around to that. i have a bachelor's degree in computer science, and wrote my undergrad thesis in human-computer interaction. i have also published writing; part of the prize money i won in a new media fiction competition financed my camera. at first glance, these may seem like disparate endeavors, but i strive to use the digital medium to pull them all together as a means of convergent storytelling. i am available for and interested in any and all types of photographic work. want to contact to me about a possible project? email me, and i'll be glad to talk with you. make sure to remove the REMOVEANTISPAM from the email address before you send it. i put it there to foil the spammers. |
